President Assad's Requiem to Whitney Houston

He believes that children are the future, so he kills them before they grow up.
You might not be aware of it, but Syrian President Bashar Assad is a giant fan of American pop divas, thanks in part to his childhood dream of becoming a celebrated female singer.

Unfortunately for the British-trained dentist-turned-dictator, Mr. Assad never had the chance to see his dream through, as he inherited the ruling position of Syria from his notoriously brutal, infamously cunning father, Hafez al-Assad.

That's right. The current brutal mass murderer leading the bloody attacks on civilians in Syria is letting loose all that blood and treasure because he is angry that he never got to fulfill his dreams of becoming a woman, and then a celebrity vocalist. Talk about Michael Jackson envy.

At least that's what our Anonymous sources inside Syria and the London School of Economics (LSE) tell us.

This Assad Houston cartoon by Laughzilla for The Daily Dose splices the two big topics that were all over the news for a few days at the same time, in the middle of February 2012.

Now that you've enjoyed this edition, in full-color I might add, take the next logical step and get your very own copy of the Themes, Memes and Laser Beams editorial cartoon book, or any other book, calendar or awesome items from The Daily Dose shop.
